Then it gets even better! After only 3-4 hours of sleep, i will be making my way to New Jersey for Electric Daisy Carnival New York :D :D :D Free tickets to two AMAZING events back to back.

Well, i’m Vietnamese but born and raised in New York. Then moved to North Carolina. I’ve actually moved about 7-8 times in my childhood o_o And now i live in Virginia and go to a university in Washington, DC. So yeah, i’m all over the east coast :D haha

So you know how there’s a tumblr tradition for TMI Tuesdays, we should start our very own tradition! Tumblr Raver Tuesday, anyone? Haha Just so we can all get to know each other a bit better & you have an outlet to share your own edm experiences :) So every Tuesday, we’ll post a question that you can post your answer below or if it’s a long story, feel free to reblog! Also, if you have any suggestions of questions, feel free to hit up our ask and we’ll try to post it once Tuesday comes around. Well, here goes nothing :D
First question: How did you start listening to electronic dance music? Was it a certain song? Was it an experience?

But for me waay before i started raving, in 2008 my favorite songs were ATB’s Ecstasy & DJ Encore’s High on Life Hahaha Lame, i know xD

If you’re familiar with sites like Living Social or Groupon, they usually have great deals for vacation packages, restaurants, etc. Well, I was pretty surprised to see that today’s daily deal is for Electric Zoo! As of right now on the main website, you can buy a regular 3-day ticket + delivery and fees for $340.81 and prices will only increase from now on. On Living Social, it is only $320 for a 3-day pass and transportation AND $15 Toward Merchandise + $10 Toward Non-Alcoholic Drinks, which comes to a value of $365. Plus, if you don’t remember they’ve only released Phase 1 and it’s a pretty awesome line-up. So with all this, I just bought my ticket before before this deal ends in 4 days. If you change you’re mind, you have 24 hours to request a refund!
ALSO, as a reminder this is currently the only place you can get single day tickets! They might have them at the gate this year but on if the event doesn’t sell out beforehand (and you guys know how many events are selling out this year!) So hope this helps everyone who was planning on going. See you guys there :)

Sold my EDC NY ticket.
In less than an hour.
I’m sure it’ll be better and more organized once they have a trial run this year. So maybe i’ll go next year.
For this summer, I think i might just save my money for Electric Zoo and/or another camping festival like Bisco or All Good. Cus man, I’d splurge on camping festivals over shows at stadiums any day. Haha One day, maybe one day i’ll make it to an Insomniac event :) I’m feeling pretty gooood about this decision. Woo -
Well, i’ve been feeling a bit crappy lately but on the bright side, I just won a Sweetlife Food & Music Festival ticket from Headaboveheart! They cost about $75 for general admissions O_O So i’m pretty excited :))
Would anyone on tumblr happen to be going to this tooo? -
So i need your feedback & opinions. I already have my two day EDC NY ticket, which i got early for only $150 (which includes processing fees), and I won’t have to pay for hotel because i have a friend who lives nearby. Since I’m from the east coast, I’ve never been to an Electric Daisy Carnival (let alone an Insomniac event before).
With all of this, do you guys think it’d be worth it to spend another $100 for a third day of edc?

I constantly think to myself how fortunate I am to go to one of the best and most expensive private universities in the country and only having to pay about 1% of the actual cost. Ah :)
